General Terms and Conditions of Sale – La Voueize Campsite

 

Staying at Camping de La Voueize implies acceptance of the campsite rules, which are posted at reception, and a commitment to abide by them. Access to the campsite or setting up camp requires prior authorization from Camping de La Voueize.


Reservation

The reservation of the pitch or the rental of accommodation will be recorded in chronological order of arrival and only becomes effective after confirmation of the agreement from Camping de La Voueize and receipt of the corresponding funds.


Location

A maximum of 4 people are allowed.

It is imperative to declare pets (2 max per pitch) and to pay 3 euros per night per pet.

Thank you for being responsible and mindful of the environment, energy consumption and other campsite users.

The pitch is available from 4pm (reception closed from 2pm to 4pm).

Departure must be before 11am, after this time an additional fee will be due.

Our La Voueize campsite is located on the banks of a river; we advise you to bring insect repellent for flying and crawling insects. Each camper must bring their own electrical plugs and extension cords.

A late departure package until 2pm is available at a rate of 6 euros per pitch or rental (chalet/mobile homes/tipis).


Accommodation: Mobile homes, Chalets, Unique Tipis

ALL OUR RENTAL PROPERTIES ARE NON-SMOKING

All our rentals are available from 4pm (meet us directly at the bar upon arrival).

Each rental is intended for a certain number of people, which cannot exceed the number declared at the time of booking.

It is imperative to declare pets (2 max per accommodation) and to pay 3 euros per night per pet.

Thank you for being responsible and mindful of the environment, energy consumption and other campsite users.

The rates include rental, water, gas, electricity and tourist tax.

The rentals are fully equipped: kitchen equipment, refrigerator, hob (except for unusual tipi accommodations), outdoor terrace with garden furniture.

We offer a bed linen package of €10 per accommodation and a cleaning package of €15 per accommodation.

The tourist tax is applied according to the current rate.


Rules of the stay

The full amount of the stay must be paid at the time of booking.

For reservations made by telephone, payment will be requested as soon as possible after the reservation voucher has been sent.

Payment on site may be considered in cases where the time between booking and arrival is extremely short, subject to agreement with the campsite managers.

The reservation will be confirmed after full payment for the stay before arrival using the following payment methods:

Insurance

Insurance and Liability

Acceptance of this contract implies that the camper must have valid insurance for his tent, caravan, motorhome, vehicle and civil liability.

Cancellation or interruption of stay insurance

For all bookings made on our website, cancellation insurance is offered at the time of booking.

For bookings not made online, you also have the option of purchasing cancellation insurance after finalizing your booking. Simply visit https://www.assurances-sejours.com/ and click on the "Subscribe" button located in the top right corner of the homepage. You are also free to purchase any other insurance covering cancellations or interruptions of your stay.


Cancellation or interruption of stay insurance is strongly recommended.


In the event of cancellation, interruption of stay or early departure without taking out insurance, no refund or reduction of stay will be granted, regardless of the circumstances.


For these reasons, we strongly recommend that you take out cancellation or interruption of stay insurance.


In case of late arrival or early departure, no reduction or refund will be granted.

Please inform Camping de La Voueize if you will be late arriving. Your reservation will be held for 24 hours from your scheduled arrival date (excluding pitches). After this period, if we have not heard from you, your reservation will be considered cancelled.


Camping de La Voueize then reserves the right to re-let the accommodation/site; the booking fees as well as the sums paid will remain acquired by the campsite.

In the event of cancellation, only cancellation insurance will allow for any potential compensation, according to the insurer's terms and conditions. Camping de La Voueize cannot make any exceptions to these rules.

 

Arrival / Departure:

Rental : The rental is available from 4 pm until 8 pm at the latest. In case of later arrival, please inform Camping de La Voueize.

Locations : Locations are available from 4pm.

The campsite is closed (security barrier) at 10pm, it is no longer possible to enter the campsite after this time.


Departure must take place before 11am.

Please note: the gate only opens at 8am. Thank you for respecting the peace and quiet of the guests who are still sleeping.


For families who have opted for the "cleaning" package, departure must be before 10am.

Security Deposit or Guarantee (only for rental properties):

€300 is payable upon arrival by check or credit card imprint.

It consists of:

Equipment deposit: €220

Cleaning deposit: €80

Deposit for the campsite access barrier remote control: €20

The cleaning deposit may be cashed if the tenant does not subscribe to the cleaning service. If the cleaning carried out by the tenant is incomplete or inadequate, Camping de La Voueize reserves the right to cash the deposit.

Upon your arrival, you will be given an inventory prepared by us. You must check it and report any discrepancies no later than the day after your arrival. As all facilities are in working order, any complaints concerning them must also be made no later than the following morning. After this period, Camping de La Voueize will consider these items as damage; they will then be mentioned during the departure inventory and deducted from the "equipment" deposit.

For your departure, you will need to make an appointment with Camping de La Voueize no later than 48 hours before the scheduled date, in order to carry out the exit inventory.

In case of departure outside reception opening hours and if the rental is returned in good condition, the deposit will be returned by post as soon as possible or destroyed (cancelled in case of credit card imprint).


Electric vehicles

It is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN to charge any electric vehicle on ANY of the campsite's electrical installations, including those of the accommodations.

A dedicated, paid charging station for electric vehicles is installed at the campsite reception. (Prices vary depending on subscription).

For obvious safety reasons, any breach of this rule may result in expulsion from the campsite.

Dispute

Foreign language versions are translations as faithful as possible to the French version. However, in case of conflict, only the French version shall prevail. In the event of a dispute, and after informing the management of Camping de La Voueize, any campsite customer has the option of contacting a consumer mediator within a maximum period of one year from the date of the written complaint, sent by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt to the operator.

Rules and Regulations for Camping de la Voueize

1) Admission requirements

To be admitted to enter, settle and stay on our campsite, you must have been authorized beforehand by the manager(s) of Camping de La Voueize.

Anyone staying at the campsite must first present identification documents and complete the formalities required by the police.

Minors not accompanied by their parents may stay with parental authorization and must be accompanied by an adult.

Staying at Camping de La Voueize implies acceptance of these regulations and a commitment to abide by them. Any breach of these regulations may result in the expulsion of the offender. In the event of a criminal offense, Camping de La Voueize may call upon law enforcement.

2) Installation

The tent, caravan or motorhome, and related equipment must be installed in the location indicated and in accordance with the instructions given by Camping de La Voueize.

3) Reception desk / Bar

The reception desk or bar is open from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm and from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

All information about campsite services, local tourist attractions, and various useful addresses (Police, Gendarmerie, Fire Brigade, Doctors, etc.) is available at the reception desk.

4) Royalties

Fees and tourist tax are payable at reception or at the bar; the amount is determined by the posted rates. They are due based on the number of nights spent on the campsite. Campers are encouraged to pay their fees before departure.

5) Noise and silence

All campers are expressly reminded that they must take every precaution to avoid disturbing the peace and quiet of the neighborhood. In particular, they should avoid any noise that could bother their neighbors (conversations, loudspeakers, slamming car doors and trunks shut, etc.).

Between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM, any violation of these provisions will be considered as disturbing the peace at night.

6) Animals

Pets (maximum 2 per pitch or accommodation), tattooed and vaccinated, are accepted at the campsite except for category 1 and 2 dogs. They will be charged according to the current rate.

They must all be kept on a leash. They must not be left alone at the campsite, even confined, in the absence of their owners, who are legally and financially responsible for them. Their vaccination records must be up-to-date and presented upon request by Camping de La Voueize. They are not allowed in public areas (restrooms, children's playground).

Please respect the spaces of Camping de La Voueize and your neighbors; picking up your animals' excrement YOURSELF is MANDATORY.

7) Visitors

Visitors may be admitted to the La Voueize Campsite under the responsibility of the campers who receive them.

They MUST present themselves at reception and pay the fee according to the current rate.

8) Vehicle traffic and parking

Within the La Voueize campsite, vehicles must travel at a speed limited to 10 km/h and respect the direction of traffic.

Vehicle access is closed between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM . During this period, vehicles must be parked in the outside parking lot.

To conserve water and to be eco-responsible, washing all vehicles (including motorhomes, caravans, two-wheelers, etc.) is PROHIBITED.

Only vehicles belonging to campers staying there are allowed to circulate within the campsite.

Visitors' vehicles must remain parked at reception.

Unless otherwise specified by the campsite representative, vehicles must be parked on

The allocated space (or in the designated outdoor parking area of the campsite). For safety reasons, they must not obstruct traffic in any way.

9) Maintenance and appearance of the facilities

To protect the environment and maintain the grounds, it is strictly forbidden to:

- to build fences or delimit the site by personal means, and to dig the ground.

- to store used items

- to deprive caravans, regardless of their size, of their means of mobility (tow bar, wheels, etc.)

- to erect awnings whose structure and fixed position would subject them to a building permit

- where appropriate, to install garden sheds

Furthermore, it is prohibited to install transportable or demountable houses called "Light Leisure Dwellings" without regulatory authorization.

10) Cleanliness and environmental rules

Everyone is required to refrain from any action that could harm the cleanliness, hygiene, and appearance of the grounds.

It is forbidden to throw polluted water onto the ground or into gutters.

Camping de La Voueize practices selective sorting . Containers for "household waste" and "recycling" are located at the entrance to the campsite.

The use of a garbage bag is mandatory for household waste.

Campers are responsible for keeping the sanitary facilities clean at all times. Please supervise young children; the restrooms are not playgrounds! Thank you for being considerate of others.

Washing dishes is strictly prohibited outside of the designated basins.


Environmental protection is a priority for Camping de La Voueize.

We ask you to use water and electricity wisely and to avoid any waste.

Plantings and floral decorations must be respected… let's think about our planet!

It is forbidden to drive nails into trees, to cut branches, or to plant anything.

Any damage caused to vegetation, fences, grounds or campsite facilities will be the responsibility of the person who caused it.

The pitch used during the stay must be kept in the same condition as the camper found it upon arrival.

Caravaners and motorhome owners must empty their wastewater into the facilities provided for this purpose.

11) Security

A first aid kit is located at the reception of Camping de La Voueize.

Fire :

Fires and barbecues (except gas barbecues or griddles) are strictly PROHIBITED during heat waves.

Stoves must be kept in perfect working order and not used in a tent or near a car.

Fire extinguishers are available to everyone in every building and walkway of the campsite. In case of fire, notify management immediately. Campers are advised to take the usual precautions to protect their belongings.

Theft: Management is not responsible for stolen items. The camper is entirely responsible for their equipment.

12) Electric vehicles

It is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN to charge any electric vehicle on ANY of the campsite's electrical installations, including those of the accommodations.

A dedicated paid charging station for electric vehicles is installed at the campsite reception. (Price depends on subscription).

For obvious safety reasons, any breach of this rule may result in expulsion from the campsite.

13) Dead garage

No dead garage is possible at Camping de La Voueize.

14) Mail, messages

At the reception of Camping de La Voueize, you can leave your mail on departure and collect your mail on arrival.

Telephone calls cannot be received at reception.

15) Internet

No wifi coverage on the grounds.

16) Right to one's image

You authorize Camping de La Voueize to use, in any medium, photos or videos of you or your children that may be taken during your stay for the campsite's advertising purposes. Please inform us if you do not wish to appear in these promotional materials.

17) Data Protection Act

In accordance with Article 27 of the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, users are informed that the optional information they provide by completing the forms, if they so choose, is used to process their requests and is intended for Camping de la Voueize, the data controller, for administrative and commercial management purposes. Unless they object, this information may also be shared with other companies in the group or with the campsite's partner companies. Users are further informed that they have the right to access and rectify all personal data concerning them by writing to Camping de La Voueize at the following address: Camping de la Voueize, 1 Avenue de la Marche, 23230 Gouzon, France.

18) Campsite Management

She is responsible for order and the proper maintenance of the La Voueize campsite.

It has the right to sanction serious breaches of the regulations if necessary, and to have the expulsion of troublemakers by law enforcement in the event of an offense.
